How to write a clean listing for an NSFW AI app
A clean listing is a directory entry for an adult app with no nudity in the images and no explicit words in the copy. 16 large directories and launch sites take adult AI apps only that way. This is what they say, and how to write an entry they accept.
The rules, in one list
- Images. Logo, cover and screenshots with no nudity, no lingerie shots, no suggestive poses. Show the interface: the chat, the character builder, settings, the pricing page.
- Words. No explicit terms in the title, tagline or description: not "NSFW", "uncensored", "sex", "porn" or their synonyms. "For adults (18+)" is allowed and expected.
- Category. AI companion, chat, roleplay, character, image generator: the product category, not the content.
- Your own site. An age gate or an 18+ notice on the landing page; several places check it before they approve.
- Honesty. Do not hide that the app is for adults; a reviewer who finds it out later removes the listing. Say "for adults" and stop there.

What each clean-only place says

- Toolify.ai — Takes AI girlfriend apps but rejects tools "too explicit with adult content": keep the listing copy and images clean. Review: Listed within 48 hours; refund if rejected.
- Easy With AI — NSFW tools are allowed with no sexual images or words in the listing, and are kept out of home page search. Review: Usually within 24 hours; refund if rejected.
- AI-Hunter — Lists NSFW chatbots but rejects tools too explicit with adult content. Review: Refund if rejected.
- FutureTools — Adult sites only with content filters on by default: it calls itself family friendly. Review: Over 75% are rejected, and you will likely not hear back.
- AlternativeTo — No porn sites. Sex-related apps without hardcore content are fine, with no images. Use Suggest new application in the menu. Review: Priority review in 1 to 2 business days.
- Product Hunt — No ban on adult products, but sexually explicit words and images are banned: keep the page, gallery and comments clean. Review: Team review; being featured is selective.
- Hacker News (Show HN) — Only for something people can try, ideally without a sign-up wall. Review: No approval; votes, flags and moderators decide.
- BetaList — Pre-launch or just launched, on your own domain. Review: Editorial review; refund if not selected.
- Launching Next — No content policy published. Review: Daily review; an email if published.
- Fazier — Its terms ban obscene material: keep the listing clean. Review: Free listings within 30 days.
- Tiny Launch — No content rules in its terms. Review: Weekly launches.
- Microlaunch — No content rules in its terms. Review: Paid launches skip the queue.
- Altern.ai — An AI Companion category with neutral descriptions. Review: Human review within a few days.
- Indie Hackers — Its terms bar obscene content. The product list shows self-reported revenue. Review: Not stated.
- Crunchbase — A company profile, not a product listing. Pornography gets a profile flagged: describe the company, not the content. Review: Daily moderation.
- AI Tools Saver — No adult category; Candy AI, Nectar AI and Janitor AI are listed with non-explicit companion descriptions next to promo codes. Review: Fast Track and More Impact submissions go live 12 to 24 hours after review; about 91.5% of tools are accepted.

Questions about clean listings
What counts as a clean listing?
No nudity or sexual imagery in the logo, cover or screenshots, and no explicit words in the title, tagline or description. Saying the app is for adults (18+) is fine; describing sexual content is not. Most clean-only places also want your own site behind an age gate.
Is a clean listing worth it?
For the big general directories, yes: they carry more visitors than any adult directory, and a clean entry is the only way in. It sends people to your own site, where your real positioning lives.
Can I use the same listing everywhere?
